Assalamualaikum... wah.. nervous jugak first time nak update our family blog ni..
Greetings dearest cousins and other family members. So looks like our plans for our annual family gathering for 2008 to be held at Langkawi island are underway and hopefully will go on smoothly to its successful and happy conclusion, Insya Allah. Last week we held a mini meeting to update and confirm decisions on several matters including the printing of our family t shirt and others, attended by K Long Najwa and Abg Nizam, K Ngah Wani, K Long Zarith, K Long Zura, Abang, Waffi, Banglang Ashraf, K Su Niza, Izzatie and yours truly, of course. To update the rest of you out there on the outcome....
The printing of our family t shirt has been confirmed, to be carried out by Dini, K Ngah Wani's friend. Should be completed and distributed, Insya Allah, by raya haji. Aside from that, we will all be getting a pin badge with I luv MOKA (the spelling has been changed with the approval of the Steering Committee) sign. Transport has also been confirmed, i.e. an express bus will be picking us up from rumah Nya Nya on WEDNESDAY, 10TH DECEMBER 2008 at 9:30 pm. We are expected to arrive in Kuala Perlis jetty at 6 am the next day, and we should arrive on the island by lunch. From thereon we will be transported to the Malibest Beach Resort on Pantai Cenang.
The trip back home will be on 14th December, which is on Sunday, departing from K Perlis at approximately 1pm.
Don't forget that we will be divided into groups and our Finale will be at dinner on the 13th of December where each family and each group will have to come up with a performance in line with the agreed theme of 'RETRO'. So now's a good time to start thinking of your attire for the dinner and maybe even start planning your family performances. Sama macam dulu jugak, there will be special prizes for the best dressed.
Apa lagi yek....oh yes...prizes people will have to confirm with activities people on preparation for hadiah...be prepared, people...there will be some interesting activities that have not been revealed during previous meetings which you guys can definitely look forward to...heheh...
We will also need to firm up on the duty roster... the group must sit down with the F&B and Safety and Security people on all arrangements. We will have the (hopefully) last Big Meeting at Seremban during the Raya Haji...looking forward to hearing from you guys then. But if you have any suggestions, problems, enquiries, kemusykilan dan sebagainya before then, pleasee give me a buzz and we'll try to solve them all before the meeting, kay?
Wokeh...that's about it from me for now...kalau ada apa apa yang tercicir tolong highlight ok...
Till then...this has been fun and here's to hoping that there'll be more to come in the future...
